Take the “Touristic Road of Champagne” into the heart of champagne country and discover the history and secrets of this mythical drink – the “King of wines”!

In the morning, the guided visit of “Moët & Chandon” cellars in Epernay will enable you to discover the elaboration of Moët & Chandon wines, the skill of its oenologists and the legacy of an enriched “savoir-faire” passed down through generations of Cellar Masters. A glass of champagne will be served. Free time to discover the store and the mythic “Dom Pérignon” bottle. Then enjoy a traditional lunch in Mutigny,(Champagne aperitif), a charming little village built among vineyards, on a hilltop, overlooking an exceptional viticulture sight. In the early afternoon, following a part of the “wine grower’s trail”, ”, the visitor will discover the riches and characteristics of the Champagne wine country as well as the work methods of wine growing.

In the afternoon the coach will take you across the Montagne de Reims regional park. Stopover at the Reims cathedral cathedral for a guided visit of this gothic masterpiece where the kings of France used to be crowned. This will be followed by an orientation tour of the city. Follow the highway back to Paris and your Champagne Day tour is complete.

Champagne Day Tour Details: Tour cost is $189 per person and includes lunch and entrance fees. Tour operates from April 1st to October 31st, Wednesdays and Saturdays only. Tour begins at 0730am and leaves from the tour office at 214 rue de Rivoli (metro line 1 / Station: Tuileries). We provide a Paris city map to help you find your way. Check-in time is 20 minutes before departure time. Duration of tour is 12 hours.
