London Chunnel Info
The Eurostar High Speed train travels between London, Paris, and Brussels.
The London Chunnel train arrives and departs at the London Waterloo station, which is located right across the river from Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. It's a great location that's central to the city and minutes from some of London's greatest attractions.

The station is also easily accessible by the London Tube System (take the Bakerloo line to the Waterloo stop and you're there). Some fun Facts: • London Waterloo Station is named for the Battle that Napoleon lost near Belgium (which is ironic, because the Eurostar now accommodates over half of the people travelling between Brussels and London!) • If you're arriving to Waterloo station via Taxi, ask to be dropped off at 'Waterloo International' That will drop you off right at the entrance for the Eurostar. As you walk in, you will see the ticket booth on your left and the check-in booths on your right. • The International Station of Waterloo that houses the Eurostar was built in the early 1990s for an estimated £400 million. Architects Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners designed the station, which won several architectural wards in the year of its opening. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the station is a glass canopy that stretches 400 meters and consists of 37 prismatic, three-pinned bowstring arches. • To use the bathroom at Waterloo International, it costs 20 pence. • The word "Chunnel" is an American nick name for the English Channel Tunnel. • The London Chunnel to Paris will no longer run to and from Waterloo station when the CTRL project is completed in 2007. At that time, it will begin service from St. Pancras station (King's Cross). | 3 Easy Ways to Contact Travel Pro: 1) You may simply call our office toll free at 1-800-647-1509 - most websites hide their telephone numbers in some sub-directory – not us, We WANT you to call!
